The AMCU publication changed its name from AMCU NEWS to AMCU VOICE because the publication has become more than a news carrying magazine; it has become a mouthpiece through which the working class within the union speak.
AMCU Voice is a compilation of shared experiences within the labour sector and how the working class fight to arrive at a wage-led economy and a living wage. This publication bridges the geographic barriers of our nationwide membership allowing diverse narratives that resonates with the proletariat worldwide.
Digital platforms have aided effective engagement with the media and the AMCU membership as information is made readily available prior going to press and events. Through our understanding of the current digital era and the AMCU constituency, we have merged creative with copywriting to provide hard-hitting aesthetic that not only captures the AMCU message but also evokes emotion.
We have generated artwork for demonstrations, food parcel distributions, calendar events and milestone celebrations. This has allowed AMCU the opportunity to distinguish themselves from other unions by continuously using traditional and new forms of communication to cater for as many people as possible across their platforms.
